ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Athens, Greece and moved to London in August 2013 to study English Literature at UCL. Over the past eight years I have been actively involved in theatre companies by directing, writing, producing and acting in plays. In 2016-2018 I received my MFA in Theatre Directing from Birkbeck College, University of London during which I also got actor's training on the BA of Drama Centre.
In 2014 I won UCL's annual competition and received funding to direct Euripides’ Bacchae in West End's Bloomsbury Theatre. The production was then selected by the National Student Drama Festival 2015 as one of the best productions of the year, followed by a tour in Greece, as well as an invitation to give two special performances at the British Museum.
In April 2015 I founded a theatre company under the name Collide Theatre, bringing together a group of inter-disciplinary artists sharing a passion to explore unconventional theatre spaces and bold texts!
In 2017-2018 I was the Resident Assistant Director at HOME in Manchester where I assisted Walter Meierjohann, Bijan Sheibani, and the Tiger Lillies on their main-stage productions! I also directed my own projects, as well as running a number of educational programmes and workshops. For 2019 I was the Staff Director on OperaUpClose's National Tour of Puccini's La Bohème.
In 2020 I was the Resident Assistant Director at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Since 2021 I have been Associate Lecturer at the University of the Arts London, Visiting Lecturer and Visiting Director at East15, Warwick University, Birkbeck College, and ArtsEducational. Since 2021 I am also a Research Fellow at the Birkbeck Centre for Contemporary Theatre.
